Otakon has finally arrived!

Wed Jul 15, 2009, 1:22 PM
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, its that time of yr again where everyone(well except me lol) who has been working hard on costumes can show off their hard work. Otakon is this weekend and I'm holding it to it's usual standards of greatness this yr, especially since I'll know more people going lol. Brion and I (and possible Randy) will be stayin at the Holiday Inn, where there will be Rockband and SSB both Melee and Brawl and booze of course lol. To all those going this yr, you have my number so we can roam the halls and events in a group, for those that are going and don't have my number, send me a note and I'll send ya one back. I'll be wearing my usually Autobot shirts and carpenter pant shorts, and I'll be camping out at midnight on thursday cause my dumbass didn't register in time. Might be able to avoid the long line if they let me prereg on thursday. If not then oh well, I'm bringing a pillow and a blanket and parkin my ass at the door. Hope to you all there, peace!

Transformers 2!!!

Mon Jun 29, 2009, 8:05 AM
Saw it a few days ago and it is one of the best movies to come out so far. I'd say its tied for first along with Star Trek IMO. Obviously everyone else may have different opinions which is totally your right to have, if you want to argue about it, please don't try it. Next movies I'm looking forward to see are: Harry Potter, [link], and 9. Next saturday is the 4th of July, so really looking forward to the party at :iconyuuriko: 's house cause its also going to be a Harry Potter party ^_^ For those that don't already know, I've reinstalled AIM and I'm pretty sure my SN is on my DA page. Anyways on a random thought, I'm adding links, as I've always done lol; First one is for the movie "9" the rest are songs that I wish I could play on Rock band (1 or 2).

Also hope to see most of you at Otakon this yr ^_^

Aight, I finally broke down...

Tue Jun 2, 2009, 5:31 PM
And created a facebook account. I had no plans whatsoever in making one but everyone keeps asking me,"Hey do you have a face book?" or say "You still have a myspace, you should make a facebook instead". So after weeks of dealing with this, I finally made one. I did manage to link one of my playlists from itunes on there so, ya can hear what I hear while I cut meat at Wegmans lol. And ya never know, so of the songs may surprise those of you who've known me for a while. In the mean time, listen to Coheed and Cambria and enjoy, "Welcome Home"

Cherry Blossom Festival

Sun Mar 29, 2009, 4:45 AM
Yup its that time of yr again where the Cherry Blossom trees all over DC open up, bringing with them not only the Cherry Blossom festival but a crap ton of tourists to crowd the streets and drive DC into complete disarray. But what makes this yrs festival a little different is the fact that my friend and I are volunteering to work on Saturday morning, apparently in the food section, which you should all know doesn't bother me one bit lol. So if your planning on coming to the festival be sure to stop by and say "Hi" lol. Not sure what part of the food section i'll be working with, just hope its not cleaning dishs -_- . Anyways so at Wegmans they have a tendency to play an ok variety of music, most of which is actually up to date, such as Taylor Swift's Love Story. Now for those that don't know me outside of DA, this is kinda unusual for me since I'm not a fan of country music but this one, I have to admit, is pretty good. Also there I heard the song that IF I ever get married and have a daughter, this would be the song that I would like to dance with her to on her wedding day. I know that I don't have a say in anything that happens at the wedding but I would ask to dance with her to Steven Curtis Chapman's "Cinderella". I must be softening up in my old age ( >.< ) but for some reason this song gets to me, don't ask me to explain it cause I can't. So I'm gonna end this journal now before I make myself look even more the sedimental fool. Hope everyone has a great day, and hope to see some of you at the festival!

Katsucon09!!

Sun Feb 15, 2009, 1:41 PM
WHAT A CON! One of the better katsucon's so far, imho, I met up with :iconyuuriko: and :icongbright1: chatted with them for a lil bit. I can't wait to seem both of them real soon at the next con, OTAKON!!, ^_^.

Sorry if the typing and my overall attitude aren't as laid back as usual. I'm still riding the high of just being at Katsucon, had lots of fun in the dealers' hall, the Masquerade, artist alley, the raves, and of course the Maid Cafe! My only regret was not being able to see our maid, Yomiko, today was hoping to talk to her some more. Oh and a fair warning to those who ever happen to play her at boardgames, she is an amazing player lol, beat me in Uno and connect 4 and totally obliterated a guy in Guess Who. If you happen to read this Yomiko please send me a note saying hi and tell me how your doing. You were the best maid at the cafe! For those who went to the con, Yomiko was the red (auburn) head in the blue maid's outfit.

I am posting the few pictures I took right after this journal entry, and left me get everyone's opinion, should I title my journal entries "The Bladewing Blitz"? lol idk it just popped into my mind and i figured i should get everyone's opinion of it. Well hope to hear from everyone soon, laters!
